The mother spots Rock, Extür and Iapetus running away. "Your mother is going to start chasing us," Extür states.

"What drives someone to kill their family," Rock ponders angrily. That's when the mother gives chase.

"I don't know, but she's gaining on us," Extür points out.

Iapetus's mother (I don't care that if a name ends in an "s" you don't add the apostrophe. I'm going to do it unless it's plural. Bite me.) launches another torrent of flames at Extür. Unlike Nermorna, he is able to dodge by floating above the flames. "What?! How can YOU fly?!" The mother growls.

"I refuse to tell you," Extür replies as he follows Rock.

Trying to get away from his mother, Iapetus runs ahead of Rock. "Kid, no!" Rock calls out.

"What's he doing?" Extür asks.

"He doesn't know it but he's heading to a cliff," Rock answers. Shortly after, Iapetus stops as he notices the upcoming cliff. His mother then corners him, Rock and Extür.

"You impotent children," the mother threatens, (despite Rock being an adult.) "You really thought you could escape me."

"Why are you doing this?" Extür interrogates. "That is your son!"

Iapetus's mother starts to threaten the trio before Nermorna lands behind her.

"You best stop now!" Nemorna demands.

"You dare get in my way?!" The mother snarls.

"You are vile!" Nemorna replies. Iapetus mother proceeds to charge at Nemorna, only for her to grapple her snout, drag her across the ground, and throw her off of the cliff. Upon inpact, Iapetus's mother snaps out of her furious delirium, her eyes reverting back to their regular state.

"What...happened...?" Iapetus's mother ponders. That's when everything comes clear in her mind. She recalls how she attacked her family. First her daughter, then her partner. She hears their frightened voices echo in her head; her partner trying to calm her down, her daughter's pained wails, her partner telling Iapetus to run. She starts to cry as the memories start to shatter her.

As she bleeds out from the impacts she endured by landy on the rocky shore, she realized that what she has done can't be undone. Her last dying thoughts are about her living son. "I... Iapetus... I..." She gasps out his name before taking her final breath, collapsing on the rocky shore underneath the cliff. The picture zooms out to shore Nermorna, Iapetus, Rock and Extür still up on the cliff, with Iapetus's mother lifeless on the shore of Jetsam Lake.

I'm not going to lie, I actually choked up when drawing her death scene. Whilst trying to finish up drawing this episode, I was listening to Rossz Csillag Alatt Született by Venetian Snares, which felt evil because of the album's content and concept; an album about grief and love. There's even a cover of "Gloomy Sunday" on it. (Also known as the "Hungarian Suicide Song".) I still have story plans with Iapetus's mother, even if she is dead. This album very much fits her, I fear.

"You're safe now, kids," Nemorna states. Iapetus can be seen whimpering for his now dead mother.

"My family...gone..." Iapetus whines.

Nemorna kneels down so Iapetus can see her better. "I can look after you. I have kids of my own," she offers.

Rock looks up at Extür, noticing his distraught expression. "You okay, kiddo?" Rock asks.

Holding back tears, Extür responds with, "I wanna go home..."
